The morning light is always something spectacular over the ocean at Cronulla, or anywhere along the east coast of Australia.

Peering through the trees while walking along the Esplanade towards Shelly Beach from Oak Park, made me pause one morning. I found the view instantly inspirational and I knew I wanted to start painting it!

The foliage, the grass, the rocks, the sparse wind swept tree were all captivating. A large piece that was a pleasure to paint. It is worth seeing this piece in real life as the photograph of it does not do it justice.

I am passionate about the Australian landscape, especially this area of the Sutherland Shire. This artwork is done on a professionally built hand stretched canvas (using super strong polyester canvas) and is custom framed in solid oak.
