The early morning light bouncing off the skyline buildings of Cronulla was this inspiration behind this piece.

I loved the deep shadows and the creamy soft colour of the sand. Loosely painted in an impressionistic style with textured palette knife techniques applied particularly in the ocean. You can see and enjoy the texture of each brushstroke. This photograph of the artwork does not do it justice - the colouring is soft and creamy and far more beautiful that how is appears here. This one is worth coming to have a look at in real life!
